The patented PTS, Powder Transfer System, offers numerous advantages over conventional transfer systems, particularly in the charging of pressure vessels. Ideal for solids such as finished pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, and metal powders, PTS allows powder to be charged directly into closed vessels, including those under vacuum or pressure, or those containing solvents, in a totally safe manner while preventing the formation of dust or the introduction of oxygen. Its design is space-saving, efficient, clean and provides an exceptionally reliable method to safely transfer and dispense powders, including products with difficult flow characteristics. When extreme safety is required, the fully-pneumatic PTS offers significant benefits in the prevention of explosions or hazards of flammability.

The PTS body is designed to avoid the retention of product and the filter is continuously unclogged. Powder can be transferred from almost any receptacle or process equipment into any type of receiver or another process vessel. PTS can be made to dose either volumetrically or gravimetrically.
