MPTS - POWDER SAMPLING  

Removal of a toxic sample from a vacuum dryer, prior to emptying. The optional sealed glove box eliminates any operator contact with the product.

• Using the same technology as in the Powder Transfer System (Patented PTS) it is possible to offer a reliable and accurate solids sampler MPTS (Micro Powder Transfer System).
• MPTS allows the transfer of a sample to a remote location. The sample may be transferred to a sample bottle or to some analytical equipment.
• Samples of explosives, toxic materials, carcinogens, skin sensitizers or oxygen sensitive products or other less hazardous powders can be taken easily and safely.
• The system is compact, easy to operate and conforms to cGMP standards.
• The sample does not come in contact with rotating or mechanical components which can cause contamination.
• The transfer is effected in dense phase flow with low velocity guaranteeing the homogeneity and preservation of the sample.
• The powder is transferred by aspiration of the gas of the process, thus avoiding possible oxidation of the powder during transfer.
• The sample is taken in a few seconds, thus being perfectly representative of the batch in degree of mixture, humidity and other physical properties.
• MPTS samples a predetermined amount automatically. Sampling frequency is adjustable.
