De Dietrich Process Systems offers a wide range of teaching units. The units use the same standard components we manufacture for industrial use, providing students with valuable hands-on experience using equipment typical of what will be used after graduation. Teaching units can be custom designed for particular experimentation needs. Student and Instructor Manuals can be included with all units.

A standard range of QVF teaching units has been designed for instructional purposes. Typical applications include unit operations laboratories and technical school training bays. Their glass components allow visual monitoring of the experiment/process. Units are available demonstrating different column types, evaporation, extraction, heat transfer, fluid transport, absorption, and process control. The specifications on the left include additional details about each of these standard units.

Miniplant Teaching Units have been developed to focus on the theory behind the large-scale unit operations. Most units have a significant number of sampling and instrumentation ports to close observe all aspects of the experiment. Data acquisition software allows for easy analysis of multiple test runs.
