Texas Winter Wonderland

IMG_9046.jpgOur Corpus Christi, TX employees had a memorable day last week as they watched their city turn into a winter wonderland!

Last Friday, a flurry of white flakes started around 2:30 a.m., covering the streets, rooftops, and Christmas displays in Corpus Christi. The band of snow had mostly moved out of the Coastal Bend by 9 a.m., with some places seeing as much as seven inches. Most schools took advantage of the rare event and had a delayed opening.

The weather quickly returned to normal and the snow left as quickly as it came. We are happy that some Texans got to experience the fun that snowfall can bring. Sometimes on the East Coast we know that "joy" all too well!
