It is recommended to run a “pilot test” before making major decisions, especially those who carry a large financial investment for your company.  During pilot testing you are essentially creating a miniature version of a production-scale operation in order to replicate the environment of your process on a smaller scale. The test will help ensure you get the end results you want.
